The Progeny ResQ 1064 nm handheld Raman offers emergency responders, law enforcement agencies, and the military with the industry’s most wide-ranging tool for CBRNe detection, chemical identification, and narcotics classification in a simple and fast handheld form.
Faced with progressively advanced chemical threats and international drug trafficking, the Progeny ResQ provides users with confidence to:
- Identify a wide range of illegal drugs and narcotics
- Detect explosive threats quickly and accurately in harsh environments
- Respond to suspicious dangerous materials that risk public safety
The Progeny ResQ is an advanced chemical detection system that uses Raman spectroscopy to detect unidentified compounds. In contrast to traditional handheld and portable Raman systems, the Progeny ResQ utilizes unique 1064 nm laser excitation. The 1064 nm advantage overcomes sample-induced fluorescence interference, allowing operators to detect a number of real-world compounds (including those that are colored or in colored packaging) that were previously “invisible” to older generation systems.
QuickDetect Software
With a library of more than 13,000 compounds, the Progeny ResQ offers results within seconds at the click of a button. Intuitive, smartphone-inspired QuickDetect software uses advanced algorithms and wide-ranging databases to identify the sample (mixture or pure) and offers the user with a simple ‘Threat / No Threat” reading and applicable NFPA hazard information that can be used to enable the response effort.
Threat Recipe Alerts with 4C Technology
The Progeny ResQ currently has the ability to monitor independently identified chemicals that could perhaps be used in combinations as precursors to form an ever more dangerous situation – such as the making of illicit drugs or explosives– with 4C Technology. Frequently a first responder is required to be aware of these vast recipes or have a speedy ability to verify with an off-site expert. This can cause preventable delays. The Progeny ResQ can now anticipate a potentially more risky threat and alert the user automatically.
Durable Versatility
The Progeny ResQ handheld chemical analyzer is the only handheld 1064 nm-based Raman unit that has passed demanding testing to the United States Military Standard 810-G and IP 68. The Progeny ResQ can be controlled by the large, hard press buttons that can be felt through several layers of gloves or worked using one hand with its touch-screen. Furthermore, the Progeny ResQ handheld Raman chemical analyzer has an embedded 5 mp camera for environment or sample image capture that can be attached to an analysis report.
Features:
- Rugged, MIL-STD-810G tested tool to collect analysis in any environment
- 1064 nm advantage to measure more substances, including colored materials or through containers
- Bright screen display and large buttons for use in the field
- Automatic alerts of potentially risky combinations to broaden the incident response
- Largest standard library for increased confidence
